A+ Sports Therapy maybe able to provide therapeutic services to individuals on behalf of:
- Private Medical Insurers
- Healthcare Cash Plans
Private Medical Insurance
Depending on the level of cover you hold with your insurance provider. You may be able to access the services of “A+ Sports Therapy” via your private medical insurance policy. Some insurers do require a referral from your GP and a therapy provider reference number prior to authorising treatment. If you require any provider details please feel free to contact us. Policies and procedures vary from insurer to insurer so if you have any queries please contact your insurer direct.
This is especially prevalent with recent procedural changes regarding insurance payments for therapeutic treatments. Meaning that unlike the old system of therapists/clinics directly invoicing the insurers once the therapy session had taken place! The NEW procedure (for many insurers) is for you to pay for your treatment directly and we then provide you with a receipt to enable you to claim back the relevant costs.
Healthcare Cash Plans
Again, depending on the level of cover you hold with your Healthcare Cash Plan. You may be able to access the services of “A+ Sports Therapy” via your plan. With Cash Plans a referral for therapy from a Doctor is not usually required and you can make the referral yourself. However, again policies and procedures do vary between Cash Plans.
It is therefore advisable to read your policy details or contact your provider if you require further information regarding your plan. But the usual procedure of payment is for you to pay for your treatment directly and we then provide a receipt for you to claim back the costs.
