Meet our new Sports Therapy & Rehabilitation Therapist Gabriella

Gabriella Rusek – Sports Therapy & Rehabilitation Therapist
Hello, my name is Gabriella, I am a Sports Therapy & Rehabilitation Graduate based at “A+ Sports Therapy” in Manchester.
I have completed a 4-year honours degree at Leeds Trinity University & I have additional qualifications in dry cupping & other therapies that I am currently completing.
For four years throughout my degree, I gained some fantastic experiences within quite a few differing clinical environments. One of which was working in an Australian clinic in Sydney, where I assisted the Sports Therapists in daily activities such as clinical assessments/consultations, the application of various types of soft tissue work including massage & overseeing the individual rehabilitation sessions of the patients. During this time, I worked closely with individuals from multiple backgrounds, such as Olympic swimmers, runners an dancers.
Additionally, I also worked alongside the Sports Therapists at Bradford AFC, a semi-professional football league, where I took care of the young players, conducting clinical assessments, carrying out rehabilitation sessions by applying Pre & Post Sports Massages an Taping the players. I also gained some excellent experience from working in a first-rate Sports Clinic in London, undertaking hands on therapy in the field.
My big passions are for fitness & the constant pursuit of a healthy lifestyle, which I undertake work upon on a daily basis. As you will find me in the gym most days & when not there you might find me out hiking either here or whenever possible in another country as I absolutely love travelling.
Working with different people from various backgrounds & lifestyles has always been a goal of mine, an that is just what I get from working within the healthcare industry. I am a very goal driven individual; I love waking up early in the morning as that is when I am most productive.
I became a therapist because I have always been curious about how the human body works & I believe that Sports Therapy can make a big difference to people’s lives by helping them get back to their full function or activity. My aim is to help other individuals get back to what they love doing as for me seeing patients progress & achieve their goals is a deeply rewarding experience.
So, I would be thrilled to see you in the clinic! I am available at “A+ Sports Therapy” on Monday afternoons from 2pm to 8pm + Wednesday & Thursday mornings from 8am to 2pm & you can book in for a treatment with me now!
