Meet our new Physiotherapist Aminah

Aminah Andre – HCPC State Registered Physiotherapist
Hello, my name is Aminah, I am a HCPC State Registered Physiotherapist based at “A+ Sports Therapy” in Manchester.
I am a recently graduated physiotherapist equipped with up-to-date knowledge & evidence-based practices. Having completed my training in a forward-thinking clinical environment, I have developed a strong foundation in diverse therapy settings.
My hands-on experience spans several essential areas of physiotherapy, including: Musculoskeletal (MSK) therapy, treating a wide range of mobility & pain issues. Acute stroke rehabilitation; supporting patients through early stages of neurological recovery. Intensive care physiotherapy, delivering care for critically ill patients in complex, high-pressure environments. Paediatric therapy, working with young children to encourage growth & development through individualised plans.
I centre my practice on each patient’s unique needs & aspirations, ensuring that treatment plans are adapted to individual goals, backgrounds & preferences. Built through collaborative decision-making to foster engagement & empowerment. Responsive to changing circumstances, allowing for ongoing adjustments.
I believe that a patient-centered approach is crucial because it improves outcomes, enhances patient satisfaction & creates a therapeutic partnership that encourages adherence & motivation.
Staying current with the latest literature an advances is a key professional priority of mine. As I regularly read scientific papers an clinical updates to refine my techniques & ensure all treatments are grounded in the latest evidence.
I firmly believe in a hands-on approach, combining manual therapy techniques with active rehabilitation. This helps patients feel more engaged in their recovery & supports more targeted, individualised care.
I am eager to continue my professional development as I have set my sights on pursuing a Master’s degree in Advanced Physiotherapy. This next step will deepen my expertise & enhance my clinical skills, allowing me to deliver even better care to my patients in the future.
Outside of physiotherapy, I enjoy an active lifestyle as my hobbies include playing basketball, going to the gym & exploring new recipes & cooking techniques. These interests not only keep me motivated & energised, but also help me relate to patients who are pursuing their own health & fitness journeys.
So, I really can’t wait to meet you all in the clinic! I am available at “A+ Sports Therapy” on Monday & Friday afternoons from 2pm to 8pm + Saturdays from 9am to 3pm and you can book in for a treatment with me now!
